Conservation stories, nature's future

Hello and welcome! I'm Erinn, a current PhD Student in the Doerr School of Sustainability at Stanford University, where I study the political, economic, and social dimensions of environmental stewardship and conservation. I am also an avid trail runner, backcountry skier, and mountain biker. 

My research, professional work, hobbies, and filmmaking often overlap. After years working in conservation policy and advocacy, and making documentary films on the side, I returned to academia in 2025 to find the space to dig deeper into questions that have long fascinated me.

This site brings together some of that work, along with the stories, ideas, and places that inspire me.
